Why we love Arizona!
So this weekend and last weekend the weather has been absolutely beautiful. This weekend we were actually cold! There was supposed to be a fall storm coming through, it didn't bring anything but it dropped the temperature by TWENTY degrees! Last night we left the windows open and I think the low got down to either the upper forties or the fifties. Needless to say we were cold...we had to pull out our down comforter! I had to pull out my sweats and my sweatshirt. Haven't had to do that in A LONG TIME! And for the first time in a couple of months we heard the sound of kids playing outside. You really miss that sound during the summer. I love this time of year. Although it's going to get back up to the nineties this week, but in about a month it will stay cool. I can't wait!! The weather in Arizona is beautiful most of the year...and during the summer you tend to forget why you live in Arizona. We love it here and don't want to be anywhere else!
Quote of the Week
"We are often left to work out problems, without the dictation or specific direction of the Spirit. That is part of the experience we must have in mortality. Fortunately, we are never out of the Savior's sight, and if our judgement leads us to actions beyond the limits of what is permissible and if we are listening to the still small voice, the Lord will restrain us by the promptings of His Spirit." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks
"We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is to be the very best we can." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
