In answer to Sally's question
So my best friend, Sally, asked how Kevin's interview went today. It ended up being a part-time cashier's position that would only give him 20 hours a week...not enough. He would find out later today if he would be invited to an orientation and at the end of the orientation they might offer him a job. But we never got a call. Which is probably a blessing, because he would have gotten paid less there than he would if he gets his unemployment, and if he was offerred the job and refused it, Kevin would not be eligible for unemployment anymore. So...another interview...still no job. I'm trying to remain positive this month, so I'll stop there. But that's the update for today.
Quote of the Week
"We are often left to work out problems, without the dictation or specific direction of the Spirit. That is part of the experience we must have in mortality. Fortunately, we are never out of the Savior's sight, and if our judgement leads us to actions beyond the limits of what is permissible and if we are listening to the still small voice, the Lord will restrain us by the promptings of His Spirit." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks
"We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is to be the very best we can." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
