Voted!

So my plan was to get up early so I could go vote before I went to work. I had a huge fear that the lines would be horrendous. Well, I couldn't get myself out of bed, so I decided to brace myself for the lines after work. Kevin was nice enough to go before me and save a spot in line, but the lines were so short anyway. I was shocked! I was done in like twenty minutes...a lot better than the hours that I thought I would be standing there. So I'm done. I voted. I feel good. Now I'm just scared to find out the results. Can I just hide for the next eight years?

Yeah, I waited to vote during the rush hour (go figure) and I had to stand in line for a whole 10 minutes! What is the world coming to these days? It actually wasn't bad at all, yay for voting!

Quote of the Week

"We are often left to work out problems, without the dictation or specific direction of the Spirit. That is part of the experience we must have in mortality. Fortunately, we are never out of the Savior's sight, and if our judgement leads us to actions beyond the limits of what is permissible and if we are listening to the still small voice, the Lord will restrain us by the promptings of His Spirit." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks

"We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is to be the very best we can." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
