Progress Report

So it's been a couple of days since Kevin was let go. We've had some time to process this change. For the most part we have remained positive because we know that something better will come out of this. We have the typical worries about our bills and finances, but for the most part we're moving on. Kevin's been spending most of his time looking for a new job. I'm very proud of him and how pro-active he is being. He's keeping a positive attitude. When he calls me at work, instead of sounding all down and out, he sounds happy. Our perspective this time around is SOOO much better than when it happened last year. I think these last couple of months with all the trials we have had it's helped us to turn to Heavenly Father, so we are in much better situation to turn to Him and to trust Him. So things are better. We're taking one day at a time.

Quote of the Week

"We are often left to work out problems, without the dictation or specific direction of the Spirit. That is part of the experience we must have in mortality. Fortunately, we are never out of the Savior's sight, and if our judgement leads us to actions beyond the limits of what is permissible and if we are listening to the still small voice, the Lord will restrain us by the promptings of His Spirit." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks

"We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is to be the very best we can." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
