Bring on October

So I know that my posts this month have not been the most positive. It has seemed like the longest month! So much has happened this month! From trying to move Kevin's mom to CA and his family freaking out, to our trip to LA, then to Kevin getting laid off. It's been a stressful time.

What I want October to be is more positive. My goal will be to think of something positive everyday so it will help us to remember the good times and not dwell on the negative. Afterall you will become what you focus on!

Another reason why I want October to come is that the weather here will finally start to cool down. The nights are already getting cooler...it's in the 70s. And pretty soon the daytime temp won't be so hot.

So goodbye September and hello October!!!

Quote of the Week

"We are often left to work out problems, without the dictation or specific direction of the Spirit. That is part of the experience we must have in mortality. Fortunately, we are never out of the Savior's sight, and if our judgement leads us to actions beyond the limits of what is permissible and if we are listening to the still small voice, the Lord will restrain us by the promptings of His Spirit." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks

"We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is to be the very best we can." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
