Back to the Old Stomping Ground

On Sunday after we visited with the couple that Kevin lived with while going to school we decided to go by each other's schools: Kevin's chiropractic college and my high school. We walked around and took pictures. Here's a few of my high school:

Here's the band practice fields we spent many many hours going over our field show.
This is the gate we went through A LOT. It was by the band room. We waited there after school, after night practices, after competitions for our parents to pick us up. Many hours spent here socializing and hanging with friends.
It's really hard to believe that it's been nine years since I graduated from high school. Going back to the school made it seem like it was 1999 again. Wow! Time sure flies!!

Quote of the Week

"We are often left to work out problems, without the dictation or specific direction of the Spirit. That is part of the experience we must have in mortality. Fortunately, we are never out of the Savior's sight, and if our judgement leads us to actions beyond the limits of what is permissible and if we are listening to the still small voice, the Lord will restrain us by the promptings of His Spirit." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks

"We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is to be the very best we can." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
