my week

i had another interesting week. school went good. classes were interesting. i have my first test next thursday so i'll be busy studying until then trying to master these basic chemisty skills down. i'm pretty comfortable with the math equations...it's going to more of the memorization of some terms and the selected elements and symbols that i'm more worried about. but i'm taking it one thing at a time.

i saw my doctor this week about my meds. he doubled both dosages. so right now i'm just allowing my body to get used to the higher dosage. i'm fighting through some of the side effects and hopefully this will help things.

the crazy part of my week was at work. i'm learning a lot about myself. i'm becoming a better leader - i'm learning to interact with more authority - i'm learning how to separate my feelings from my job responsibilities - i'm learning how to make decisions better. today was an especially crazy day.

this next week is going to be a busy one. i have my first test. next sunday is my week to give the relief society lesson. but best of all - my mom, my sister, my brother-in-law, and my niece are coming! i cannot wait to see them!

Quote of the Week

"We are often left to work out problems, without the dictation or specific direction of the Spirit. That is part of the experience we must have in mortality. Fortunately, we are never out of the Savior's sight, and if our judgement leads us to actions beyond the limits of what is permissible and if we are listening to the still small voice, the Lord will restrain us by the promptings of His Spirit." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks

"We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is to be the very best we can." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
