D-backs game

My mom, Kevin, and I went to the D-backs game last night. We missed you Diana and Joe!!
The ceremonial first pitch was thrown by Hayden - the winner of this season's Big Brother
Here's the Dodgers relief pitchers and pitching coaches (this and the next picture are for you Joe).

Chris Young hit a single.
This guy standing up was a very vocal Dodger fan. He taunted the crowd with rooting for the Dodgers.
Another self-portrait at the baseball game. (To see the first, check out this link: http://cmunksgard.blogspot.com/2009/06/we-went-to-d-backs-game.html)
They decided to open the roof.

Action shot
Whenever Stephen Drew came up to bat the crowd would say "Drewwwwwwwwwwwwwww". It almost sounded like "Boooooooooo".
Enough said (sorry Joe).
The pitcher, Daniel Hudson, came soooo close to having a complete game. In the ninth inning, at two outs the manager decided to take him out. He did an awesome job.
While the new pitcher was warming up a fan decided it would be a good idea to jump down from the center field fence to say hi to the outfielders. The security guards ran out and tackled him.
And picked him up...and then later dropped him. What was this guy thinking?
Go D-Backs!!!! Woo hoo!!!

Quote of the Week

"We are often left to work out problems, without the dictation or specific direction of the Spirit. That is part of the experience we must have in mortality. Fortunately, we are never out of the Savior's sight, and if our judgement leads us to actions beyond the limits of what is permissible and if we are listening to the still small voice, the Lord will restrain us by the promptings of His Spirit." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks

"We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is to be the very best we can." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
