Speed Whiners

So the big thing on the news lately is all the speed cameras that have been put out on most of the freeways here. As the news always does, they keep on talking about all the negative things about these cameras and not the advantages that it brings. Personally I do not have a problem with the cameras. If you choose to speed you choose to reap the consequences of doing so. One thing they keep on complaining about is that the cameras are "causing" more accidents. I don't understand that, because there are signs giving warnings that the cameras are coming...so why would they cause accidents if people already are warned that the cameras will be there? So that excuse doesn't really go too far with me. Another thing they are complaining about is that it isn't lawful because you aren't able to confront your accuser...well, if the camera takes a picture of you speeding then you were speeding...that's concrete proof. How else would you explain it? What I like about the cameras is that it is making people slow down so hopefully there won't be as many accidents as before. And the revenue is supposed to help the state of Arizona...with the deficit in the budget that could help somehow...not sure on how much...but at least it's something. So for all those whiners out there....just get over it!
