Decision has been made

Last night when I went to get into bed I noticed our comforter and sheets had a wet spot. Joey peed on the bed. I took off the comforter and the top sheet and got another blanket...and went to sleep. When Kevin came in to go to sleep around 2am he found another wet spot right where he sleeps. So Joey peed twice on our bed. This is his way of telling us that he's hurting.

So I'm on my way to work and the feeling just came over me that we need to put him down. As hard and difficult that is going to be for us, we can't let Joey be in pain. So I cried. I called Kevin and we made the decision that it's time to let him go. I bawled the rest of the way to work.

Kevin emailed me about an half and a hour after I got to work with the appointment time and date with the vet. I called him and I started bawling.

So Saturday at 2:10 we take him in.

. . . . . . .

Sorry you are going through this trying time. It's hard to trust that you are making the right decision when it's something you don't necessarily want to do. You are strong!

Quote of the Week

"We are often left to work out problems, without the dictation or specific direction of the Spirit. That is part of the experience we must have in mortality. Fortunately, we are never out of the Savior's sight, and if our judgement leads us to actions beyond the limits of what is permissible and if we are listening to the still small voice, the Lord will restrain us by the promptings of His Spirit." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks

"We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is to be the very best we can." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
