as of late i haven't been much of the blogging mood...i guess you already tell that since my last post was on the 14th. things are going good. work has been really busy. but i'm really enjoying it. i feel a great sense of accomplishment and i feel like i'm really making a difference. i'm still learning a lot about myself and building on my leadership abilities.
school is going good. i had my second test this week. will find out next week what my score was. this class isn't quite as difficult as i thought it would be. as long as i keep up and do a lot of practice time outside of class i feel comfortable with the material. and i'm actually enjoying it. i even had a crazy thought this week that i want to take a higher level chemistry class...crazy i know for a girl who only took a five week summer school chemistry class during high school and did everything to avoid taking that class in college.
kevin started his second round of rotations this week. so for the next six weeks i will be going to church by myself. and hopes to be able to spend sometime with him during the week...outside of his rotations, his work, my work, and my school. it's going to be interesting. but kevin is really enjoying what he is doing. it's hard to believe that he'll graduate this april. i'm so proud of him and all that he has accomplished.
it's hard to believe that it's already the end of october. didn't this month just start? pretty soon it will be thanksgiving and christmas...don't ask me what we're doing for both of those holidays because we still don't know. i would really like to spend time with my family but i don't know if that will be possible.
kaitlyn is now full-on crawling. so wish that i could see her. she's getting so big.
today my best friend at work is having her baby. so excited for her. so a trip into phoenix might be in order later on so i can finally meet the new arrival.
our kitties are still keeping us very entertained. shadow and bear are getting so big. bear is definately kevin's cat. he'll sit on his lap and come to him when he calls. shadow is my cat. she's not one to stay sitting on my lap, or to be totally obedient when i call her, but she is a very sweet kitty. we are so glad we brought them home. buddy is so darn cute. lately he's been on a people food kick. he especially loves dairy products. he loves to lick the bowl of ice cream we've just eaten...or the cup of yogurt. i think we even saw him eating some broccoli. tigger is as hyper as ever. he runs throughout the house. he's so cute. addie is doing great. her ear is fine. she's a sweetie as always. izzy still loves attention...will practically beg for it. annie loves to cuddle with us. this week we brought out our down comforter and she's started wanting to cuddle with us under the comforter. kit kat is still kit kat. our neighbor across the street calls him mr brazil because of kevin's flag that we had hanging during the world cup.
alright...well i guess that's a good update for now. i have a formal lab report that i need to work on as well as master the art of the empirical formula and get ahead for next week.
until next time...

Quote of the Week
"We are often left to work out problems, without the dictation or specific direction of the Spirit. That is part of the experience we must have in mortality. Fortunately, we are never out of the Savior's sight, and if our judgement leads us to actions beyond the limits of what is permissible and if we are listening to the still small voice, the Lord will restrain us by the promptings of His Spirit." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks
"We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is to be the very best we can." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
