Very Relieved!

Day after surgery. Came home from work and a sesson at the temple. Brought some food into Izzy who we kept in our office all day to still recuperate. We brought him a small amount at first. He chomped that down. And we gave him more...he ate that...we gave him more and he ate that!!! He even ate the part that we put one of his antibiotics on!!! Then we gave him his pain meds. And then we had to force down another antibiotic (this time in pill form)...and he was such a trooper through the whole thing! He let me hold him...it took about four or five attempts to get the pill down, but it finally went down. We decided to let him out of quarantine and he went running out.
He went into our bedroom where I was able to snap this picture. Then he came out in the living room and was being friendly and letting us pet him. So I'm happy to report that he's doing much better!!!!! We love you Izzy!!!!!

Quote of the Week

"We are often left to work out problems, without the dictation or specific direction of the Spirit. That is part of the experience we must have in mortality. Fortunately, we are never out of the Savior's sight, and if our judgement leads us to actions beyond the limits of what is permissible and if we are listening to the still small voice, the Lord will restrain us by the promptings of His Spirit." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks

"We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is to be the very best we can." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
